Justin received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the J.B. Speed School of Engineering at the University of Louisville, where he also lettered for 4 years on the Cardinal baseball team. Following graduation, he played professional baseball in the Chicago Cubs and Washington Nationals organizations. In total, Justin spent 5 years as a full-time baseball player, part-time engineer, often working on drawings and reports on long bus rides. Following his baseball career, he worked at the Army Corps of Engineers performing levee inspections and design before coming on board at Civil Solutions in 2014. While with CSA, Justin attended the University of Oklahoma where he graduated with a Master’s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering.  He is a registered professional engineer in Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia and specializes in MSE and gravity retaining wall design, landslide remediation and deep foundation systems.  When not hard at work, Justin spends his time on the golf course where he enjoys routinely beating his colleague Corbin.
