Katie Reichert, P.E.
Project Engineer

Katie Reichert is a reliable and hardworking Professional Engineer for Civil Solutions. Katie and her three brothers grew up in Oscoda, Michigan and spent much of their childhood in the outdoors along Lake Huron. Her family moved to Northern Kentucky in 2001, where Katie attended Boone County High School and subsequently the University of Louisville.

Katie graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 2016 and continued through UofL’s Master’s program in 2017. During undergrad, she competed in the ASCE Steel Bridge Competition as a project manager. In addition, she completed study abroad programs in Cusco, Peru and Cebu, Philippines dedicated to educating students about elementary engineering and sustainability concepts.

Katie first joined Civil Solutions as a co-op in the summer of 2016. After completing her Master’s degree, she was hired full-time as a project engineer. Katie has undertaken a number of responsibilities within our engineering team including writing geotechnical reports, designing systems of permanent and temporary earth retention and performing slope stability analyses. Katie became a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Kentucky in 2020.

When not at work, Katie enjoys running, cooking, baking and traveling with friends and family. Her homemade cheesecakes and brownies have become a favorite around the office. Katie has completed four marathons with aspirations to continue racing. She loves to surround herself with family, friends and positive attitudes who encourage her to enjoy life one mile at a time.
